By God’s grace, Mission Harmony (MH) presents two mission opportunities to Taiwan and China this summer. The first mission is to Taiwan(里港和東港) from 6/26-7/2, and the second mission is to Taiyuan(太原), China from 7/4-10. Choose either mission or do both.

Before and after the devoted hard mission works, MH arranges optional sightseeing trips for team building fellowship from 6/25-26 in Taiwan and from 7/10-12 in China.

Each participating church/ministry is encouraged to organize her own team and works as her own mission with MH gladly providing logistics, accommodation, worship programs and camp handbooks.

I. VISION

Calling for 7 teams of 15 to 25 brothers and sisters (7 to 70 years old) each to continue on solidifying previous missions in Taiwan (‘07-‘10) and Taiyuan (‘08-‘10) to further extend God’s kingdom to the local schools and communities in co-working with Life of Bread church(~50 members) in Taiwan and the official 3-self church(~43,000 members) in China.

Families are encouraged to come, school kids and college students are effective ambassadors for Christ (II Cor. 5:20).

II. MISSION PROGRAMS

Twice daily 90-min worshiping God to exalt Him in proclaiming the truth and His love is our mission focus, followed by small(~25) AM English VBS/Chinese Bible classes and PM craft/sport sessions, plus additional nightly EV concerts to the city and revival meetings for the church.

MISSION TAIWAN(6/26-7/2) in leading English Gospel camp in 10 elementary schools

5 teams (of 15 to 25 persons) lead 5 VBS camps with bilingual handbooks in 5 elementary schools with 200-1000 students each. Conduct Elijah trainings(6/26-30), healing visitation and evening EV services(7/1-2), and morning footwashing EV and camp presentations(7/1-2)

MISSION CHINA (7/2-10) in coworking with Taiyuan Christian Church:

1.    First team of 12 persons co-lead Chinese Bible camps for ~250 students from Jr high to college in church’s seminary

2.    Second team of 4 persons co-lead children VBS camp in church

3.    Nightly EV seminars in church at the city center

The 3-star city center hotel, 5-min walk to the church and 30-min church van ride to the seminary

III. ITINERARY & COST(airfare, lodging, transportation, meals, camp expenses and side tours. Without side tours, add $250($125 for child) to airfare).

MISSION TAIWAN(6/23-7/2) – $2,300

6/26: Check in before 5 PM, Team building evening

6/27-7/1: English VBS camps in 5 schools

7/1-2, 8-11AM: Operation Care for kids and camp presentaions from all  schools in Ligang city park(7/1) and Donggang(7/2).

7/1-2: Healing visitation and EV services in Ligang

(6/25-26: Tour Taipei, depart DFW on 6/23)

MISSION CHINA(7/2-12) – $2,800

7/2: All arrive in Beijing, from US and from Taiwan*, continue to Taiyuan by bullet train.

7/5-10: Bible camp, children VBS camp and   nightly EV faith-life seminars to the city dwellers

(Tour Beijing(7/2-4) and Shanghai(10-12)

How great His faithfulness is! As we were waiting upon Him to seek His will, He shows us next year’s missions to Taiwan and China.

Per attached below is the mission to 5 Ligang (里港) schools called for by Pastor Lin.

To Dong Gang (東港)mission 2011, we will have a special ministry for local Indonesia population of 3-400 cared by the church, out of over 4000+ in that area. Praising the Lord, God is going to send His servants, an Indonesia/Chinese missionary couple from Houston to take care of them.

Dong Gang ‘s HB school has been expecting us since we left this July, we will come in from 6/28 to 7/2 as Ligang schools’.

You can see there are more schools calling for us to teach them the gospel of Jesus about Faith, Hope and Love, which is unthinkable just three years ago!

During last July’ s China mission, the church has asked about two things: discipleship and community service. We have done the first one three times, but no idea about the other one.

Faithfully, God has answered the church’s callings for community service.  There will be a medical team composed from a group of doctors, and an English teaching team from their spouses and friends. Plus a bi-lingual life-faith seminars. Bible camp will go on as before.

As the fields are “white” from Taiwan to China, Mission Harmony(MH) would like to support churches to organize their own mission teams by adopting a school as her own mission field. MH is here to help.

屏東縣里港地區2011英語村海外華裔青年服務營實施計畫

壹、 緣起：

為配合縣府推動國際化政策，鼓勵海外華裔青年投入國內英語學習活動，提昇教學資源缺乏地區學生及弱勢族群學習英語機會，由一群旅居美國德州達拉斯多年的「基督徒」專家學人，結合從事於電信、電腦、航空、醫學的高科技領域及金融、財務的銀行、政府機構等旅美華人專業人士回台服務，透過基督教會里港靈糧堂的邀請與籌辦下，共同擬定本計畫。

貳、 依據：

屏東縣九十九學年度校長行政會議教育處長指示，鼓勵學校校際、國際之交流與互訪，加

強海外青少年聯繫交流，以提升英語教育水準。

參、 目的：

一、    提昇教學資源缺乏地區國小學生學習英語機會，平衡城鄉差距。

二、    促進海內外青少年交流，讓華裔青年透過對從事英語教學服務，增進對臺灣優質文化之認同，並藉由實際營隊服務，產生真愛臺灣的行為。

三、    提供里港地區學生與美國青少年的互動經驗，認識國際文化，進而體驗英語學習樂趣。

 肆、辦理單位：

四、    指導單位：屏東縣政府。

五、    主辦單位：基督教會里港靈糧堂、中宣和諧事工中心、Operation Care Dallas、社團

法人愛鄰社區服務協會里港辦事處、基督教會九如靈糧堂。

六、    協辦單位：里港鄉玉田國小、里港分局志工隊。

七、    參與學校：里港鄉玉田國小、里港鄉載興國小、里港鄉里港國小、里港鄉塔樓國小、里

港鄉土庫國小、里港鄉三和國小、九如鄉九如國小、九如鄉惠農國小。

伍、辦理日期及地點：

2011年6月27日至7月1日（星期一至星期五），依照各學校上課時間，於學生原就讀

學校原班教室上課。（原第三次評量提前於6月24、25日舉行）

柒、辦理方式：

一、收 費 標準：所有學生全額免費，相關經費由主辦單位募集。

二、成果發表會：計畫於7/1上午於里港河堤舉辦參與各校的聯合成果發表會，同時並邀

請學生家長一同參與學生的學習成果。

三、服 務 人員：共計222位

（一）行政人員：由參與學校配合主辦單位。

（二）教學老師：由「和諧事工中心」擔任。

（三）助理教師：里港靈糧堂招募有基礎外語溝通能力大專生參與。

（四）協同教學：各校教師協同生活管理與教學。

（五）膳 食 組：服務人員由主辦單位負責，學生則由參與學校營養午餐供應。
