Jesus’ realization of the substance of things hoped for

Jesus said: “..Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.“ (Luke 24:44)

• His birth:

The seed of the woman (Gen 3:15) – a virgin birth without a seed from the man.

• His life:

Joseph was despised for proclaiming God’s message, was killed in the pit but             resurrected from death(Gen 37:3-28) – He resurrected

David was anointed king but prosecuted for a long time in the waiting until he reigns – He waits to reign

• His bride

Adam’s rib was taken out for the woman (Gen 2: 21) – His suffered for the church to become His bride.

• His kingdom

The earthly kingdom continues till God destroys the anti-Christ’s kingdom (Dan 2:31-45) – His kingdom comes

• His events – Seven Jewish Feasts (Col 2:15-16):
