大衛在詩篇42:5吟到: 神要用「笑臉」幫助他，笑臉可祢為慈容, 雖然笑是外加的字。 所以 「他以笑臉幫助我」可以是「他以慈容幫助我」。臉的原文还含臨到或同在之意，「他以慈容幫助我」 便可以是 「他臨到我的幫助」或「他與我同在的幫助」。 此外， 幫助的原文亦含救恩之意， 所以「他以慈容幫助我」便可以是「他慈容裡的救恩」。

於是,大衛在詩篇42:5吟的是:

神要用我的心哪，你為何憂悶？為何在我裡面煩躁？應當仰望　神，

• 因他以(慈容)¹幫助我；
• 因他(慈容裡的救恩) ²幫助我；
• 因他(與我同在) ³幫助；

我還要稱讚他。
